60 graduates from the NRLs Learn Earn Legend! School2Work program have been congratulated by the game and Federal Government at the graduation breakfast held in Western Sydney this week.


The program, which is run at several clubs including the Dyldam Parramatta Eels, as seen over 92% of students complete their HSC and last year, 96% gained employment or further education.


To each and every on of the graduates, we congratulate you for your drive, your determination and your commitment to completing the program, NRL General Manager of Strategy and Investment, Shane Mattiske said.


Youre great ambassadors for your communities and are great ambassadors for rugby league.


Celeste Bluck, who manages the School2Work program for Parramatta, couldnt be more delighted with her students.


I was extremely proud; theyve worked so hard over the last two years and its a really good outcome finishing their HSC, she said.


Seven of the Parramatta Eels ten students in the program were unable to attend because of work commitments, and a ceremony will be held at the Eels to make sure theyre acknowledged for the outstanding achievements theyve made.


Congratulations to all those graduating the program, its a fantastic achievement and everyone at the Parramatta Eels are proud of your hard work!
