The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have granted Matt Ryan an immediate release from his contract with the club to pursue an opportunity to play in the English Super League.

Matt Ryan made his NRL debut with the Eels in April 2012 against the Sharks and went on to play 24 NRL games for the club. The 25 year old has signed a deal with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Matt has been wonderful guy to have around the club over the last couple of years, Dyldam Parramatta Eels CEO Scott Seward said.

We wish him all the best with his next challenge in the English Super League.
