The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have named a strong squad to play the Manly Sea Eagles in our final 2014 pre-season trial this Saturday at Brookvale Oval.
Head Coach Brad Arthur says he’s looking forward to testing his combinations ahead of the season starting.
“We’re taking a relatively strong squad of 22-23 players, and looking to fine-tune a few combinations and settle on a side of 17 against the Warriors [in Round 1],” he said.
It’ll be the first time this season fans will be able to see stars Jarryd Hayne and Will Hopoate in action, proudly wearing their Blue and Gold.
“They definitely will be getting a little bit of game time, not a huge amount, but we need to get them out there, make a few carries and tackles and get their timing,” Arthur said.
Kick-off is at 5pm for NYC, and 7.30pm for NRL - with tickets only available at the gates.
