The Dyldam Parramatta Eels NYC side heads into Round Two on a high from a commanding 50-24 victory against the New Zealand Warriors at home at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta.

The young Eels side withstood intense pressure from the Warriors in the second half, and Coach Justin Holbrook has only tinkered with his line-up for the second match of the season.

Joey Lussick and Zach Dockar-Clay have switched between the key playmaking roles of halfback and hooker, with Dockar-Clay moving into the number nine jersey and Lussick partnering Ryan Matterson in the halves.

With Kaysa Pritchard named in Brad Arthur’s NRL side, Jeff Markus joins the Eels interchange bench.

The Blue and Gold under-20s side will meet a Roosters side disappointed by last week’s last-minute loss to the Rabbitohs, and already missing centre Taane Milne and second-rower Willis Meehan through injury.

If history is a guide, the Holden Cup clash should be a thriller: both encounters between the Roosters and Eels in 2013 came down to just two points.

NYC kick off is at 5.15pm, with gates opening at 5.00pm.
