We caught up with Dyldam Parramatta Eels forward Kelepi Tanginoa after last night’s loss to the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium, a game which Kelepi admits got away from them.

“It felt fast, I came on in the 30th minute and the whole time we just defended,” he said.

“It’s something we need to work on, our teamwork there.”

Tanginoa says the Roosters were too strong in their attack, and they gave too many penalties away.

“Once we gave them opportunities they took it and did it well,” he said.

“[At halftime, coach Brad] said get out there and do your best, work as at team and work as a pack.”

Tanginoa says the side now has seen where the NRL benchmark is and has plenty of work to do this week to turn it around.

“There’ s plenty of this to work on; we’ll take this as a opportunity to work next week, and hopefully we can put it behind us and look forward to next week,” he said.
