In our Round 4 game day preview brought to you by Unibet, we speak to our Assistant Coach Steve Murphy about today’s “Battle of the West” clash with the Penrith Panthers.

Looking to bounce back from a tough final minute loss to the Sea Eagles, Murphy says the side is eager to prove they can go one better.

“The boys have prepared well, it was a devastating loss last week and we’re looking for a much better performance this week,” he said.

“The best thing was seeing the disappointment in their eyes; they weren’t satisfied with getting beaten and moving forward they’ll be chasing the win this week.”

Speaking about the Panthers side, Murphy says they’re a team with a lot of strengths and are building in confidence.

“They’re a team that throws a lot at you this year, I’ve noticed a lot more ball movement this year than in previous years, but they’re strong from 1-17 individually like all teams in the NRL are,” he said.

“James Segeyaro is very good out of dummy half and then experience on the dyes with Jamal Idris and Jamie Soward, so they’re a good side across the park.”
