This week we preview the Dyldam Parramatta Eels Round 7 match against the Wests Tigers with assistant coach Steve Murphy, thanks to Unibet.

And Murphy says that the Wests Tigers might just be more difficult to handle this week with the absence of their skipper Robbie Farah.

“I think they’ll come at us hard without Robbie Farah,” Murphy said.

“They’ve got a young and exciting forward pack so we’ll have to match their energy and enthusiasm.”

“They’ve got quality right across the park, and there’s a nice balance with blokes like Galloway and Anasta in the side with those young guys coming through.”

And while the Eels have been building confidence with three back-to-back wins, Murphy says the Blue and Gold will need to lift their performances to compete in the next phase of the Telstra NRL Premiership season.

“The confidence level is high at the moment, they’re playing very well and performing well as a team, but that’s been the first bit of the season,” Murphy said.

“Now we’ve got to take that against some quality opposition on Easter Monday.”
