Dyldam Parramatta Eels five-eighth Ryan Matterson says he's lost for words when it comes to describing how proud he was to represent New South Wales in the Under 20s State of Origin on Saturday night.
The 30-8 win was a fast and fiery encounter, and Matterson said the pace and intensity was a step up from his Under 20s experience so far.
"It was a really fast game," Matterson said.
"I couldn’t believe how fast it was."
"I can’t explain how I felt, how proud I was to represent NSW and Parramatta. The boys worked really hard for each other and we always said if we worked hard in defence we’d always get the win."
"I’m just so stoked, lost for words."
