Dyldam Parramatta Eels fullback Jarryd Hayne has joined his NSW Blues teammates as they head into camp in Coffs Harbour to prepare for Game 1 of the 2014 State of Origin series.

The Blues line-up sees Hayne reunited with good mates Michael Jennings and Tony Williams under last year's NSW coach, Laurie Daley.

"[Laurie's] an Origin player, he’s been there done that," Hayne said.

"And it’s always good when you have a leader that's been there before and knows what we’re going through, knows the preparation that goes into playing an Origin game."

"I’ve been up there [to Coffs Harbour] a couple of times, we’ll have a fun week seeing Jenko and Tony and that. I'm sure we'll be taking the piss out of each other!"
