Dyldam Parramatta Eels second-rower Kenny Edwards says he’s "over the moon" Brad Arthur and the Eels have shown faith in him by re-signing him until the end of the 2017 season.

Edwards debuted for the Eels in Round 26, 2013, and has gone on to secure a starting spot in the second row in 2014.

“I’m over the moon at the moment,” Edwards said.

“I’m really excited about what we’ve got and I’m excited the club is sticking with re-signing rather than going out and singing a whole lot of other blokes; they’re putting faith in us.”

And with brief stints at both the Dragons and the Sea Eagles behind him, Edwards says finally finding a stable home in Blue and Gold means even more after a couple of false starts.

“It’s massive for me,” Edwards said.

“I’m 24 now and I was out of the game for a while, so to be able to come back and play in the NRL now is a massive achievement and something I’ve been wanting my whole life.”

“I’m moving my mum down in November so it’s good to have that stability, to know I’ll be here for the next 3 years.”

“I’m just happy at the moment!”
