Congratulations to our Round 19 Shine Lawyers Team of the Week, the St Gertrude's Under 8s!
St Gertrude's is a club of only 6 teams, and the the mixed Under 8s team is an extra tightly-knit group of players, with 9 out of 12 players attending the same school.
They have been nominated for their commitment to the philosphy of the club, including always having fun, giving equal game time to all players, never discussing the result, and remembering that the game is about team and family.
Each home game, the winning Team of the Week attends a home game and runs the Eels side out onto the field, and also takes home $500 worth of Madison sports equipment to help them on the training field!
