Congratulations to the five Parramatta District rugby league players who represented in the Australian Schoolboy Championships in Darwin in July.
SG Ball players Tom Amone, Tyrell Fuimaono, Sione Katoa and Troy Dargan, as well as Will Ryan from the Hills Bulls played in the tournament from the 6th to 11th of July, finishing with an all NSW final as the Combined Catholic Colleges took on Combined High Schools.
As the Eels players came head-to-head in the final, the previously undefeated Catholic team proved too strong on the day winning 19 to 10.
It was a proud moment for Captain Tyrell Fuimanono to raise the Championship trophy.
Tom and Tyrell have also been selected for the Australian Schoolboys team to tour England and France throughout November and December 2014 following their strong performances in Darwin.
This will be Tyrell’s second Aussie Schoolboy jumper, having been selected in 2013 to tour New Zealand.
