Dyldam Parramatta Eels fullback Jarryd Hayne will put his signed jersey and boots up for auction after tonight's round 19 game to benefit the Curtis Landers appeal.

The game is part of #RiseForAlex Round, where NRL fans can help provide medical and financial support to Alex McKinnon just by attending a game (the NRL will donate $1 for every fan who attends a game this weekend), buying a #RiseForAlex writsband, or donating online at riseforalex.org.au.

And as we all come together to support a member of the rugby league family, you can also bit on Jarryd's boots and jersey to help 15-year-old footy player Curtis Landers with his own medical bills on the road to recovery from a spinal injury.

“Alex’s injury has raised a lot of awareness and educates, even myself, about the extent of these kind of injuries that can happen, as we’ve also seen with Curtis," Hayne said.

“I’ve heard a lot about Curtis through Hodko (Trent Hodkinson) during Origin camp and I hope by raising a few dollars this can help out in some small way.’’
