Dyldam Parramatta Eels prop Junior Paulo says it’s still a thrill to pull on the Blue and Gold jersey alongside players he’s watched from the sidelines as a teenager.
As the Eels prepare to travel to the Gold Coast, they’ll be looking to snap a four-game losing streak against the Titans.
“We don’t have to change too much,” Paulo said.
“We based a lot of our stuff [last week] on our defence, and our defence was pretty solid. It’s more an attitude thing for us.”
“Everyone’s just trying to regroup and everyone’s just trying to look forward to this week to lay a platform for ourselves.”
“For me, the main thing this year was trying to get a full year [in first-grade]."
"It’s an awesome feeling playing alongside senior players who I’ve always watched.”
“We’re in the process of turning this club around so it’s good to be a part of it."
The Eels' Round 20 clash with the Gold Coast Titans kicks off at 5.30pm at CBUS Super Stadium.
