Tonight, The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have successfully applied to the Judiciary to downgrade Junior Paulo's Grade 2 Dangerous Throw Charge to a Grade 1.

The club had previously advised the NRL of its willingness to accept a Grade 1 charge, meaning Paulo also received a 25% discount on the points from the Grade 1 charge.

Following the downgrade, Paulo will miss just one week of the NRL Telstra Premiership, and will be available for selection again in Round 24. Paulo will also retain 87 carry over points.
