Canon and the Dyldam Parramatta Eels would like to congratulate our Canon Community Champ for July 2014, Penny Evans.

On the back of our celebratory Women in League Round, Penny was nominated by members of the Winston Hills Tigers JRLC for her passion, dedication and love for the club, players, officials and board.

Officially the First Aid Co-ordinator and Manager of the Under 14’s team, Penny has contributed so much more to the club, working tirelessly to support everyone from coaches and trainers to sponsorship and the administration tasks.

“Penny is the type of lady that will always put her hand up to help anyone, no matter where she is … She represents the Tigers proudly and for that we are grateful,” said the Tigers.

As part of Canon’s community focused partnership with the Dyldam Parramatta Eels, one hardworking and passionate community member will be selected each month and rewarded for their efforts with ten tickets to come along to an Eels home game!

We hope Penny, her family and friends enjoyed our Round 23 clash against the Bulldogs and on behalf of Canon and the Eels, sincerely thank her for all her hard work!
