The Newcastle Knights have defeated the Dyldam Parramatta Eels 42-12 in their Round 25 match up at Hunter Stadium on Saturday.

Despite thrilling tries to Will Hopoate and rookie second-rower Tepai Moeroa, the Knights proved too strong in front of their home crowd, dealing a blow to the Blue and Gold's final chances for 2014.
