“I wear my Parramatta stuff everywhere, just ask my wife!”
As if anyone needed proof that the Dyldam Parramatta Eels have some of the most passionate supporters in the world, meet Eels Member Troy Worner.
Despite living in the Panthers territory, Troy wears his colours on his sleeve, and has the man cave to match it.
In the garage of his Jamistown home, Troy has created the ultimate place to watch the footy, with every surface decorated in Blue and Gold, and even a Nathan Hindmarsh-themed fridge for a mid-game refreshment.
And as the Eels get ready to start a new pre-season of training, Troy has already signed up as a 2015 Member.
“Being a Member and having a good win, you feel like you’re part of the team.”
“It’s also about showing the support for the team as well even during the bad times, that’s why I sign up.”
“At three days old I signed my daughter up as a Baby Eels member; hopefully she’ll follow the Blue and Gold as much as I do.”
