As Jarryd Hayne announced his departure from the Eels to head to the United States, his teammates, former teammates and rugby league legends were ready to wish him luck pursuing his NFL dream.
Hayne announced his plans on Wednesday, and said that before telling the world, he made sure to tell his teammates, who are currently all over the world on their off-season holidays.
I spoke to them this morning," Hayne said.
"I told all the the boys and they know I love them."
And from Tim Mannah to former teammate Eric Grothe Junior, Socceroos legend Maty Ryan and rugby legaue legend Chris Close, the Eels and NRL community was behind Hayne's "gamble". See some of their responses below!
