All participants of Junior Rugby League in the Parramatta District will be able to attend up to 26 matches free of charge in 2015 as part of a new on-line junior pass system unveiled today by the NRL.
The NRL are making improvements to the Junior Pass program (also known as the NRL Pass) into a new system, now known as Play NRL Rewards.
The new program will be open to all registered school and club players aged four to 15 as well as registered officials, coaches and volunteers and all eligible participants will be entitled to one FREE ticket per round of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
Participants who register to play will receive an email shortly after registration explaining how to log on to the new site and start redeeming tickets to the games they wish to attend.
The participants will receive a Play NRL branded plastic card from their junior club which will provide clear instructions about the new program. All tickets will be delivered via email and can printed at home.
In previous years, it has been difficult to get plastic passes into participants hands in time for the start of the season. By moving the system online, participants will have access to the rewards website within a few days of registration and they will be able to start redeeming tickets immediately.
The program is aimed at encouraging junior players to attend games whilst also rewarding the many volunteers, coaches and officials who put in so much time and hard work to make the Parramatta District competitions and clubs a success.
The NRL is hoping to launch the program at the beginning of February, well in time for the start of the Telstra Premiership in March, 2015.
