Dear Members and supporters,

Well, it's almost here - three weeks to the start of the 2015 season!

The team has had a great preparation during the off-season, starting with our Seattle training camp and finishing with a strong showing in the NRL Auckland Nines.

Tonight we host the Wests Tigers in Alice Springs as part of our commitment to spreading the Eels brand nationally. It's great to see Head Coach Brad Arthur blooding some of our young stars, who we have all seen developing over the last two seasons. The future of the Eels looks strong.

Our boys have visited dozens of schools in the central Australian region during the week bringing hope and joy to many children who might not ever get the chance to meet their heroes .

Times like these make me proud to be Blue and Gold.

Stage one of the Eels high performance centre, the Old Saleyards training facility, is tracking well with the team expected to be on the ground in the first week of March. Thanks to the project team for their tireless work on this vital development.

Save the date - March the 6th, Round 1, Eels v Manly. This will be a must-see game for all Eels Members and fans.

I also look forward to seeing you all at the Eels community fan day on Sunday, February 22, at the top field at Pirtek Stadium in Parramatta.

Lastly, watch this space for some exciting news over the coming weeks.

Thank you members for believing in me and my team, and remember: Stay Strong, Stay United, Stay Blue and Gold.
