Parramatta’s Darcy Lussick and Manly’s David ‘Wolfman’ Williams will put club rivalry aside to help NSW VB Blues legend Brad Fittler launch the 2015 ‘Hogs For the Homeless Tour’ at Terrey Hills Tavern on Thursday night.
Fittler has partnered with Harley-Davidson to support Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets with an annual ride throughout New South Wales to help tackle homelessness.
The 2015 ‘Hogs For The Homeless Tour’ will see the former Test star joined by a host of league greats including Nathan Hindmarsh, Matt Cooper, Steve Menzies and Ian Schubert on a 3200km ride throughout the State with clinics, appearances and school visits everywhere from Lismore to Gundagai.
“It’s a very worthwhile cause and it is always wonderful to see so many rugby league fans throughout this State come together to help out,” said Brad Fittler.
“Father Chris Riley and Youth Off The Streets need as much help as they can get to make a difference because this is a huge problem in country areas as well as in the city.”
The 2015 “Hogs For The Homeless Tour’ kicks off from Frasers Motorcycles at Concord on Saturday and ends when they ride into Pirtek Stadium ahead of the round 1 clash between Parramatta and Manly on Friday March 6.
To support the ride go to nswrl.com.au where raffle tickets are on sale with your chance to win a Harley-Davidson XL1200X Forty Eight Worth $19,495.
