Dyldam Parramatta Eels centre Ryan Morgan is eager to return to the field this Friday 6 March when the Eels kick off their 2015 campaign against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Pirtek Stadium.
The 24 year old will be looking to make an impact in front of a packed Pirtek Stadium to kick off the Blue and Gold season, and Morgan knows that having the support of the crowd will be vital this Friday night.
“It is real exciting that this Friday is looking like a sell out,” Morgan said.
“Any sell out at Parramatta Stadium is a big thing.”
“It is a great atmosphere out there and I am looking forward to the clash” he added.
Morgan, who made his debut for the Eels in 2011, before re-signing a two year deal in 2013, knows about the Eels and Sea Eagles rivalry first hand and always looks forward to the heated clash.
“The Sea Eagles are always big games for us,” Morgan said.
“There has always been a lot of rivalry with Manly and I think this one is going to be a big one.”
With the Eels squad containing several former Manly players, Morgan knows that it will add another element to the blockbuster.
“With ‘Choc’ (Anthony Watmough) and a few other former Manly boys on board, it should be fiery,” said Morgan.
“I’ll say there will be a fair few fireworks out there!”
