Dear Members and supporters,

Welcome to season 2015. As you are all aware, this Friday the Eels play the first NSW game of the NRL season against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at home in Parramatta. This game will be special as the new look Eels are keen to build on last season's resurgence.

This year, your club is determined to make your game day experience one you will never forget.

Make sure you do your team proud and be at the game, and I'm sure the boys will repay your commitment.

Our ongoing rebuilding at the Eels is not just restricted to the NRL and NYC teams: both our Harold Mathews (Under 16s) and our SG Ball (Under 18s) teams have completed three rounds of competition, and are both undefeated so far. Some great young talent is coming through at the Blue and Gold.

Last week, you heard about the investments your club is making in better infrastructure for our Members and our players.

Stage one - which is the high performance training venue at Old Saleyards Reserve, will be operational next week, and our players and coaching staff are truly excited about the delivery of this project.

This is just part of the commitment I made 21 months ago to Members about returning the Eels to the summit of the rugby league world.

On that note, in a few short months I will be asking you to show how much your club means to you, and I will be seeking your support as I continue the drive to deliver the Eels their first premiership since 1986.

Together we can achieve this goal and remember: Stay strong, stay united, stay Blue and Gold.
