Dyldam Parramatta Eels head coach Brad Arthur refused to get involved in the media hype around recruitment when he addressed the media this morning ahead of the Blue and Gold’s clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium tomorrow night (Friday 13 March).

When questioned about Kieran Foran, Arthur said there was nothing to tell.

“There is nothing to tell,” Arthur said.

“I don’t comment on recruitment unfortunately. It is just my policy”

“All our players are comfortable and know where they stand with me. I don’t talk about recruitment in terms of coming and going, and blokes in our club staying.”

“Once we manage to do what we need to do and develop our list and get a good list behind us, we are happy to share it with everyone.”

When continually pressed about Foran, Arthur said he does remain in contact with the Manly half.

“I haven’t said anything to Kieran [specifically about him agreeing to join the Eels]. We have had conversations but every coach would have conversations with him,” Arthur said

“I spoke to him after the game the other night about football.”

“I don’t comment on recruitment and that’s all there is to it.”
