Dear Members and supporters,
Congratulations to all of you who made last Friday such a wonderful start to the season. The atmosphere created by the crowd at Pirtek Stadium gave the Eels the inspiration to play such an exciting brand of footy.
Let's make sure we create that environment for the team this week at ANZ Stadium as they go for two from two against the Bulldogs!
This week the team trained for the first time on our new training facility at Old Saleyards with extremely good feedback from the coaching staff and players. The entire complex is due to be opened inside three weeks, which has everyone excited.
Talking of exciting news, today we reached 18,000 members which keeps us well on track to reach our goal of 25,000 members for season 2015!
Just to recap the week, our team wound up their preparation for Friday's clash against the Bulldogs with a Captain's Run on ANZ Stadium today and they looked raring to go.
I have previously asked Members to believe and the rewards will come. The board, management, staff, coaches and players are all united and working hard to deliver our proud club the very best opportunities for success and with your support anything is achievable.
