Dyldam Parramatta Eels forward Junior Paulo visits Eels Member Guy Erba (centre) and father at Telstra Connected Lounge on Easter Monday at ANZ Stadium

How good is game day? Nothing like an game of footy, watching the Blue and Gold battle it out for two competition points.

For 2015 Dyldam Parramatta Eels Member, Guy Erba, his Easter Monday game day experience turned into a Member upgrade to the Telstra Connected Lounge, which had a full wall of interactive screens powered by Telstra, catering in an open-air corporate box topped off by an incredible view from the 40 metre line at ANZ Stadium.

“It was great, we were in the Telstra Connected Lounge the whole day,” Erba said of his experience at the Eels v Wests Tigers Easter Monday clash.

Erba was rewarded as one of the earliest Members to take part in the “Just One More” program, where Parramatta Eels Members recruit new Members to the club for their chance to win a Tata Xenon Ute valued at over $25,000 for their efforts!

“The more the better I believe,” Erba said about recruiting Members to the Blue and Gold Army.

“I actually recruited someone from the US; My friend’s grandson.”

“My friend was over here working on a three year contract and he was a Roosters supporter. His grandson lived in the States but he liked the Eels so I recruited him to become a Member!”

Erba has had his current Hindmarsh Membership for two years and loves everything about the Blue and Gold.

“I love the footy. I love the stadium,” he said.

“Game day at Pirtek Stadium is great, and I believe it has improved since last year.”

Erba’s Member upgrade also included bringing a guest to the Easter Monday game: his father, who travelled from Queensland for the weekend.

“I took my father who flew down from the Gold Coast just for the game,” Guy said.

“He had never been in a corporate box before, he loved it.”

“We enjoyed being able to meet the players and the hospitality provided in the Telstra Connected Lounge. The view was awesome too and we were undercover which was good because it started to rain.”

“It was just a pity we didn’t win!”

Erba and his father also enjoyed the opportunity to meet and chat with some former and current players, with Eels players Brad Takairangi, Pauli Pauli, Junior Paulo and Vai Toutai all visiting the Telstra Connected Lounge.

“My dad caught up with Nathan Cayless, Michael Vella and Ben Smith. He was stoked,” Erba said.

“It was good to see that all the players were polite and courteous. I had a good chat with Junior Paulo,” Erba added.
