The last time the Dyldam Parramatta Eels played the Brisbane Broncos occurred in Round 5 of the 2014 NRL Telstra Premiership on 4th April 2014 at Suncorp Stadium in front of 32,000 loud and vocal Broncos fans.

The Eels were victorious on that day, 25-18, with tries to Will Hopoate, Semi Radradra, Jarryd Hayne and Nathan Peats along with 3 conversions from Chris Sandow before the number seven secured the game with a field goal with six minutes remaining on the clock.

In a back and forth affair, Sandow was monumental as the Eels, led by their halfback, produced a thriller in both halves thanks to the free-flowing attack seen from the Blue and Gold.

When the Eels take on the Broncos again at Suncorp this Saturday (25 April), the Blue and Gold will be looking for the same result as they aim for their fourth victory of the season.

The Eels will wear a commemorative Anzac Day jersey for the first time in the club's history and both teams will participate in an Anzac Day ceremony prior to kick-off from 7.45 that will feature The Last Post, Ode to Remembrance and national anthems of both Australia and New Zealand.
