Match Preview: NYC Broncos v Eels
The Dyldam Parramatta Eels Under 20s side will be looking to continue their winning ways after their convincing 46-4 victory over the Newcastle Knights when they take on competition leaders the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 25 April.
The Eels Round 8 clash sees a reshuffled Blue and Gold line up with Tyrell Fuimaono named in the centres with Jack Morris and Jack Anderson added to an extended bench.
The Eels will also be buoyed by the returns of captains Josh Aloiai and Jeff Markus who both suffered injuries in the Eels Round One clash, and the two forwards will bring another level to the energetic forward pack.
The Eels will be looking to continue where they left off last week, where their attack found it’s groove running in eight tries. The platform for the win was set early though hard running by Alex Twal and Jordan Muna before Zach Dockar-Clay, Bevan French and Tyrell Fuimoano made the most of the field position.
The Eels face a tough opponent this week, in the outright leaders of the competition, the Brisbane Broncos. The Broncos have dropped just one game this season and boast an impressive positive 102 for and against record.
The Broncos are coming off a 36-20 victory over the Dragons with their spine shining in the contest.
