The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have gone through a physical contest against the NZ Warriors, falling in a golden point thriller at Pirtek Stadium and Brad Arthur confirmed a few injuries suffered during the physical clash.

Eels utility, Isaac De Gois left the field at the beginning of the second half and did not return to the action and Head Coach Brad Arthur clarified De Gois’ injury after the game.

“I don’t think he’s too good,” Arthur said of De Gois.

“I think so, a fractured cheekbone.”

“He’s up at hospital now, but he was in a fair bit of pain.”

When asked if Luke Kelly would keep the goal kicker duty, Arthur discussed Reece Robinson’s quad strain as the reason the fullback has not been goal kicking.

“We willll sort that during the week,” Arthur said of the goal kicking.

“Robbo [Reece Robinson] has had a quad strain, which has been keeping him from kicking since Round 2.”
