The Dyldam Parramatta Eels Holden Cup side has thumped the Melbourne Storm 48-12 with a dominant display at AAMI Park.

The Round 14 game saw halfback Josh Grant play his first game in Blue and Gold, scoring a try on club debut.

The Eels started with strong attacking flair, with Zach Dockar-Clay scoring in the fifth minute, crashing over the Storm defence.

Abbas Miski created deja vu scoring two 90-metre tries from intercepts on the Eels left edge,  to put the visitors ahead 18-0 after the first 20 minutes.

The Storm scored their first try through Josh Kerr to get them on the scoreboard, with the Eels adding two points to their halftime lead with a penalty goal right on the siren.

The second half continued a strong attacking display from the Eels, with Tom Amone, Tui Oloapu and Josh Grant scoring consecutive tries and adding more pressure on the Storm.

The Storm scored a late try but it wasn’t enough to stop a rampaging Blue and Gold attack, with Nathan Davis and Tyrell Fuimaono both scoring to end as 48-12 victors.

Eels 48 (Miski 2, Dockar-Clay, Amone, Oloapu, Grant, Fuimaono, Davis tries, Davis 7 goals, 1 pen goal)
