2013 Country Rugby League player of the year

The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have today announced the signing of Rory O’Brien to the club, and the re-signings of Ryan Morgan and Daniel Alvaro.

26-year-old prop Rory O’Brien will join the Blue and Gold on a one-year deal, after making his NRL debut with the St George Illawarra Dragons this year.

Outside back Ryan Morgan, 25, has extended his time with the Eels for an additional two seasons, after making his debut for the club in 2011.

22-year-old forward Daniel Alvaro made his first grade debut for the Eels in Round 12 this season, and has re-signed for 2016.

“Rory is a hard working prop whose dedication and effort has paid off with him making his first grade debut this year,” Head Coach Brad Arthur said.

“Daniel has impressed everyone with his attitude to training and his respect for the elder players at the club, and is very deserving of his first grade spot, while Ryan is an experienced first-grader, and is a versatile part of our backline.”
