Dyldam Parramatta Eels forward Manu Ma’u has today been named in the New Zealand train-on squad for their upcoming tour of England.
Ma’u has never played in the New Zealand national side however is one of fourteen players named, from teams which have been eliminated from NRL playoff contention.
Soon to be Blue and Gold half Kieran Foran has also be named in the initial fourteen players for the tour.
The wider Kiwis group consists of about 40 players and more will be named over the next month as the season ends.
Train-on camps will begin on September 23 in Auckland and Sydney, with the 23-strong touring side to be announced soon after the NRL Premiership Grand Final on October 4.
