The Dyldam Parramatta Eels are set to return to the training paddock next week for the commencement of their 2016 pre-season training.
Returning in two groups under the close eye of the Eels' coaching staff, the 2016 Eels squad will return to the action in groups, on Monday 2 November and Wednesday 4 November.
The pre-season training will see new Eels squad members Kieran Foran, Beau Scott, Michael Gordon, Kieran Moss, Cameron King, James Hasson, Rory O’Brien, Mitch Cornish and Scott Schulte wear the Blue and Gold for the first time whilst Kelepi Tanginoa returns to the Eels.
In the seven weeks leading into their Christmas break, the Blue and Gold will be partaking in a structured and planned approach to training monitored by the coaching staff, with sessions ranging from aerobic testing, conditioning, recovery and stretch sessions, weight sessions, team meetings, screenings, off-site training camps and more.
“None of us are happy with how we ended up this year so we’re all pretty keen to get out there and stuck into pre-season,” Eels forward David Gower said.
“With our new players coming as well it’s a good time to test out some combinations and work together as a group to set a platform for 2016.”
