Dyldam Parramatta Eels new recruit Kieran Foran has pulled on the Blue and Gold, ready to tackle the 2016 pre-season head on with his new teammates.

Speaking with parraeels.com.au, Foran's focus is purely on the next few months ahead.

“It is a nice feeling pulling on the Blue and Gold. It is one I am really looking forward to and its now just about getting ready to rip in with the boys,” Foran said.

“I am just looking forward to starting and getting in with everyone come the start of pre-season.”

Despite withdrawing from the New Zealand Kiwi's November tour of England, after sustaining an elbow injury during the 2015 season, Foran was ready to ‘knuckle down and rip in’ to his pre-season training, eager to work closely with Head Coach Brad Arthur and the rest of his Blue and Gold teammates.

“I guess my expectations of the preseason and working with Brad Arthur are pretty high,” Foran said of the next few weeks.

“I am looking forward to starting with everyone and getting off to a good start and hopefully we can string a few wins together early on and be up there come the end of the year.”

“I just like training hard, and like everyone else, getting in amongst the camaraderie and getting amongst the boys. I am sure we will have lots of good times and really knuckle down and rip in.”

And whilst the commencement of the 2016 season is still a few months away, Foran was already looking forward to running out in front of the loyal Blue and Gold Army in 2016.

“Having the Blue and Gold Army cheering for me, rather than against will be nice. I have heard really good things about them,” Foran said.

“They are very loyal fans obviously, and I am looking forward to running out in front of them and having their support throughout the year.”
