The National Rugby League has today confirmed the Parramatta Eels will not be docked any competition points prior to the start of the 2016 NRL Telstra Premiership which kicks off tomorrow night at Pirtek Stadium.
“Today’s announcement means our club is now in a strong and sustainable position for the future,” Parramatta Eels Chairman Steve Sharp said.
“We have worked closely with the NRL to ensure that the reforms suggested by the Parramatta National Rugby League Board and the independent review would continue to enhance the governance of the club.”
“The Eels Board and senior management have worked incredibly hard to achieve this outcome and I want to thank all involved for their contribution.”
“Now that the has been put behind us, we would love to see the Blue and Gold Army out in force to support their team tomorrow night.”
