Dyldam Parramatta Eels halfback Kieran Foran has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Eels' win over the Bulldogs on Friday night.
Foran has been slapped with a charge of Grade 1 Contrary Conduct - Contact with Match Official, for making contact with referee Matt Cecchin in the 45th minute of the match.
The charge carries a base penalty of 125 points, or 93 points for an early guilty plea. Entering an early guilty plea would leave Foran free to play in Round 4 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

The Blue and Gold have until midday on Tuesday, March 22 to enter a response to the charge.
