Dyldam Parramatta Eels hooker Isaac De Gois says his combination with interchange hooker Kaysa Pritchard is creating a positive balance in the Blue and Gold side.

“It’s working well as a combination and working well for us,” De Gois said.

“Brad’s doing a great job, and me and Kaysa offer something different. [He’s] very explosive, very powerful.”

The starting number nine topped the tackle count for the Eels, despite not playing the full 80 minutes, and admitted he felt every minute of the defensive effort by the full-time siren.

“I’m very exhausted,” De Gois admitted.

“But as long as you keep turning up you find energy. We just kept turning up in defence and at the end of the day, defence wins you games.”
