The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have broken the 20,000 Member mark for 2016!
20,106 Members have joined the Blue and Gold Army so far in 2016, just under 5% more than at the same time last season, putting the Eels well and truly on track to reach 25,000 Members for the first time in the club’s history.
The Blue and Gold Army is proud to have Members all over the world, from Canada to Turkey, and Members have also been turning out in force in Parramatta to support the team every week.
In Round 2, at the Eels’ most recent home game, 6,300 people in the crowd were 2016 Members, making it the club’s new record for highest Member attendance.
And away games are no different, with more than 3,600 Members taking advantage of reciprocal entry to see the Eels beat the Wests Tigers 8-0 on Easter Monday.
The club is so grateful to the founding 20 Members of the Eels Member Council, who have increased their involvement this season and are in attendance at every home game to chat to Members to make sure the club is aware of Member concerns and always looking at new ways to improve fan experience.
And in the coming weeks, the club will be reaching out to its Members for their feedback on our stadium transition in 2017 once Pirtek Stadium begins redevelopment.
