Dear Members,
This week your Dyldam Parramatta Eels take on the Penrith Panthers in the traditional Battle of the West at Pirtek Stadium, kicking off at 4pm Sunday.
After three consecutive victories, the Eels are looking to consolidate a top-of-the-table position against the Panthers. This game promises to be a great day out for the entire family, as we mark our Salute to Service round and acknowledge the fantastic work and commitment of both our armed forces and emergency services personnel.
If you haven't been to a game in a while, make sure this game is the one you get to and show your support. Your 2016 Eels are shaping up as a very special team with coach Brad Arthur having them playing both exciting attacking footy and brick wall, resilient defence. This game should be a cracker.
The recent and disturbing calculated "smear" campaign aimed at your Board is very disappointing. I assure all Members and fans that your current Board members are people of the utmost integrity, with only one goal. That is, to make the Eels the greatest sporting club in the country.
I ask all members and fans who love this club to live my passion for the Eels and Stay Strong, Stay United, Stay Blue and Gold.
