Dyldam Parramatta Eels hooker Kaysa Pritchard has been named in the Intrust Super Premiership NSWRL.com.au Team of the Week, for his Round Six performance for the Wentworthville Magpies against Mounties last weekend (Saturday 9 April).

NSWRL.com.au picks the best-performers of the previous round, with Pritchard earning his first appearance in the side, playing his first game for the Magpies in 2016 with the return of Nathan Peats to the Parramatta Eels in Round Six.

Pritchard made two line breaks and notched up 29 tackles during his 80 minutes on the field.

Named at lock at the start of the week, Pritchard played most of the game in the more familiar position of hooker, darting over from dummy-half to score the Magpies’ first try and get them back within reach of the in-form Mounties.

The Magpies however fell to Mounties 24-16 in the top of the table clash, with a late flurry of points from the home side not enough to pull off a comeback victory.

The Wentworthville Magpies have the bye this week, before their Round Eight clash against Wests at Ringrose Park on Sunday 24 April, kick off at 3:00pm.

The Magpies currently sit third on the ladder, with four wins from the opening six rounds of the competition.
