The Dyldam Parramatta Eels Junior Representative sides have come away with victories in their Qualifying Finals at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on the weekend (Saturday 16 April), securing a perfect undefeated week for the Blue and Gold.

The victories will see the Blue and Gold SG Ball side progress through to the Semi Finals this weekend whilst the Harold Matthews side will progress straight through to the preliminary final.
 

HAROLD MATTHEWS

The Eels Harold Matthews side continued their undefeated streak in 2016, notching up their 10th consecutive victory, with a win over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the opening week of the Finals.

A clinical performance from the Eels, building a 16-0 lead at half time before coming away 28 point victors.

SG BALL

The Blue and Gold SG Ball side has held on for a thrilling victory over the Sydney Roosters.

Starting their final with four tries to one in the opening half, the Blue and Gold held off a memorable Roosters fight back to come away with a 32-22 victory to see them progress through to the Semi Finals.

NEXT WEEK – SEMI FINALS

The SG Ball side will take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Leichardt Oval on Saturday 23 April, kick off at 2:30pm.

The Rabbitohs suffered a 23-22 loss to the Newcastle Knights in Week One of the Finals.

The Harold Matthews side have the bye this week, progressing straight through to the preliminary finals next week.
