Update on the Dyldam Parramatta Eels squad heading into Round 9 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Second-rower Kelepi Tanginoa will undergo surgery this week for syndesmosis of the ankle, and will miss approximately 12-14 weeks of competition.

Kaysa Pritchard suffered a low grade ankle sprain, leaving him unavailable for Round 9.

Club Captain Tim Mannah is likely to miss one more week of competition as he recovers from a fractured shoulder blade, and halfback Mitch Cornish will be available to play despite leaving the field with a mild cork in the Wentworthville Magpies’ Round 8 clash with the Wests Tigers.

Matt Woods (hamstring) and John Folau (fractured foot) are expected to make their returns to the field in Round 10.

Fullback Bevan French will likely miss 2-3 further weeks of competition recovering from a dislocated elbow.

Anthony Watmough continues to train on a modified rehabilitation program for a knee injury, with a return date yet to be confirmed.
