The Dyldam Parramatta Eels Harold Matthews side has progressed through to the Junior Representative Grand Final after a thrilling 13-12 victory over the Penrith Panthers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday 30 April.

The young Blue and Gold entered the preliminary final with plenty of confidence, yet to suffer a defeat in their 2016 campaign.

In a tough fought game of football, and an evenly matched first half, the sides entered the halftime sheds with 6 points a piece.

The nailbiting second half saw the game go down to the wire, with Eels D Brown slotting the field goal to break the hearts of the opposition and progress the Blue and Gold through to the Grand Final.

The Eels Harold Matthews side take on the Newcastle Knights in the Grand Final on Saturday 7 May at Pepper Stadium, kick off at 12pm.

The Knights have suffered one defeat in 2016, and progressed through to the Grand Final after a 24-16 victory over the Bulldogs.
