Parramatta Eels half Corey Norman has been suspended by the NRL for eight rounds of the 2016 season, which will see him unavailable for selection until the end of Round 26.
Norman, who has already served one match after being stood down for the club’s Round 19 game, will also be fined $20,000.
The penalty has the full support of the club, and the Eels will continue to work with Corey to ensure his welfare is supported in the coming weeks.
