As we mark the tenth anniversary of Women in League, this season the Blue and Gold sat down with a group of talented, passionate women from across rugby league to talk footy, grassroots participation, role models and the women’s game.
Moderated by Channel Nine’s Yvonne Sampson, the panel saw Jillaroos Captain Ruan Sims, NRL Official Kasey Badger, NSWRL Head of Competitions Yvette Downey, NRL Indigenous Engagement Manager Michelle Baillie and ABC Granstand’s Shannon Byrne spend an hour reflecting on the game and their own relationships with rugby league.
