The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have come away with the two points in Round 25 of the NRL Telstra Premiership claiming a 30-18 victory over the St. George Illawarra Dragons at Pirtek Stadium on Monday 29 August.
Centre Brad Takairangi said the victory was a good way to finish off the final home game of the season, infront of the Blue and Gold Army, who he labelled as the best supporters in the competition.
"It's a good way to finish off our final home game. Those last couple of tries were pretty disappointing but the crowd that turned out today is outstanding," Takairangi said after the fulltime siren.
"We definitely have the best crowd in the competition and it means a lot to see so many people out here tonight."

"This is the best place to play, I have played at a couple of clubs but this is by far the best support in the competition. A great turn out for our last game and hopefully we can finish it off again next week," Takairangi added.
And with fullback Bevan French crossing for three tries, including an incredlble try assist from Takairangi, the centre had nothing but praise for the talented youngster.
"Mate he is a freak," Takairangi said of French.
"He is still learning the game, he is so raw but the instincts in the game, you can't coach that. Another pre-season for Bev and he will be an absolute superstar."
