Parramatta Eels forward Suaia Matagi has been one of the nine players selected in the official team of the tournament for the 2017 Downer NRL Auckland Nines.
Matagi’s hard running style, skilful passes with the ball and damaging defence played an integral role in the Blue & Gold campaign, that saw the side progress through to the semi finals.

The Parramatta Eels will have a trial against the Gold Coast Titans at ANZAC Oval, Alice Springs this weekend (Saturday 11 February) before a trial against the Penrith Panthers at Pepper Stadium, Penrith on Saturday 18 February.
