Johnny Mannah Cup
As we honour former Eels and Sharks player Jon Mannah, and support the work of the Mannah Foundation, assisting young people from all walks of life, we are asking all Eels fans to join us with a minute’s applause before the game to remember a big man with a big heart.
The Mannah Foundation will be the Round Four Community Game Day Partner.
As part of this special game, we’ll also be collecting any gold coins you can spare around the grounds to benefit the Mannah Foundation. The Parramatta Eels SG Ball, Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale Nines sides, who will be roaming the stadium and present near entry points, will have buckets for donations.
For all Eels tries scored during the clash, the Parramatta Leagues Club will be donating $1000 to the Mannah Foundation.
The Blue & Gold Flag will also be raised by Freddie Mannah, father of Jon and Tim, before kick off, along with Freddie presenting the Johnny Mannah Cup to the winning team after the match.
Player worn jerseys from the clash will also be available for auction from Friday (24 March, 2017) afternoon. Stay tuned on how you can bid on the jerseys and support the work of the Mannah Foundation!
The Parramatta Eels will be giving away a limited number of Hand Flags for Blue & Gold Members and fans. Arrive early to the game to pick up your flag so that you can show your Blue & Gold pride proudly during the game!
Our corporate partners Shine Lawyers will also have some Rally Towels available for selected guests, so keep an eye out for their marquee located on the concourse near Aisles 125/126.
