This week, when the Parramatta Eels take on the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium on Monday 17 April for Round Seven of the NRL Telstra Premiership, the U12 Seven Hills Kangaroos will run the Blue & Gold out onto the ground before kick off, as the Shine Lawyers Team of the Week!
The Seven Hills Kangaroos submitted their entry and were the chosen team after their submission demonstrated Shine’s values.
As part of their submission, the Seven Hills Kangaroos were described as “a great bunch of kids, most have been together since the U6’s. This team has struggled the last 2 seasons with minimum players on the field but they all show up to training and give it their best.”
“The coach is amazing works long shifts then goes to train the boys 2 nights a week. This year the boys go to international size field and only have 11 players but they are willing to play two players down just so they can all stay together for another season.”
